About The Artist


I have been working as a professional artist and illustrator for over forty years. Studying art in Baltimore, Maryland; both at the LeMillet School of Art and the Maryland Institute College of Art, and also, through correspondence . I studied with nationally known watercolorists’ Claude Croney and John Pellew. Both known for their representational and unique approach to landscape in watercolor. I mainly worked in watercolor before my retirement. as an illustrator, from the University of Maryland. Since retiring, I paint in oils and watercolor. My style is more traditional or representational. My work has been displayed in local galleries in Baltimore, Annapolis and Pennsylvania, with both One Man, and group Shows. I’m a member of the Hanover Area Art Guild, in Hanover Pennsylvania. I have participated in the Maryland State and Federal Duck Stamp Competitions, and have won awards and ribbons in various art, and photographic competitions throughout the region. I recently had a painting published in the International Artist Magazine in their monthly competition, and I was a finalist in the 2013 Artist Magazine annual competition in the animal category. I was also published in the 2016 Southwest Art Magazine in the Emerging art section, and artist to collect section. I am a member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, and reside in Westminster, Maryland.
