Intrigued by the ephemeral and ever-changing nature of street art I am employing traditional art techniques with street art aesthetics creating images that reveal a layer through a multi layered process of torn layers of paper and multi layers of paint. This work is part of the series Urban Flora, inspired by the oasis that NYC parks provide against the urban backdrop of fragmented skyscrapers. It is created on a grid composed of 2 panels, each divided further into 4, representing building windows.
