About The Artist

I was born in the Ukraine where I graduated from Kharkov Medical School. After the social and economic upheaval following the breakup of the former Soviet Union, I immigrated to the United States. I left the Ukraine where I had taught Psychology and Psychiatry at Ukrainian Medical School in the City of Poltava for 13 years. While there I became one of the three leading art therapists, which led to my interest in visual art and into the relationship between mental health and creativity. It was during this work that I began to understand that tapping into creativity is not only good therapy for people who are out of balance, but extremely good maintenance for healthy people. I published the book ‘Psychology of Creativity’ and started teaching courses that foster creativity and thinking at the University of Advancing Technology. My art had been exhibited several times in the Ukraine as well as in the United States. I call my style ‘Dynamic Creativity’.
