http://vimeo.com/71024210 The video is based on a ready-made object taken from a record sent by NASA into space in 1977, which includes visual materials and audio files supposedly representing human civilization, in case an alien intelligence comes across it. The video The Golden Record is composed of all the images and sounds sent into space, layered and intertwined together. The work is an attempt to subvert the foundations of the archive, exploring it from a different perspective and creating new connections. The attempt itself creates endless meanings and multiple truths.
