About The Artist

I am a Wildlife Artist and Illustrator living in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Sedona, Arizona and as a child I was always drawing. My father was an artist and I knew from watching him work, that was what I wanted to be when I grew up. As an adult, life happened and I temporarily went down a different path. Years later I found my way back to art and had the opportunity to go to college and receive a degree in illustration. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to focus solely on my art. In my earlier years as an artist I mainly drew portraits of people, but I have recently transitioned to wildlife and pet portraits. I have always been inspired by the beauty of animals and my passion for art seemed to naturally evolve into wildlife art. My style is realism and I work mostly in pastels, colored pencils, graphite, charcoal, and pen and ink. I do freelance illustration work as well as commissioned portraits
