Even if they are forced to decorate themselves and wear a mask of lavish beauty, they accept the consequences and strive despite the woeful circumstances. Their strength of character allows them to comfort others with a jubilant smile even though, below it all, they are taxed and tried. Society demands that we don our best guise as we go out into the world as our true selves go unnoticed.
