"Alexandra", 24" x 24", acrylic on canvas won Second Place (professional class) at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair 2014, (Gaithersburg, MD.) My current series of artworks is “Memories of Hillwood” (The Hillwood Museum & Gardens in Washington, D.C.) The artworks are inspired by the orchid flowers I saw in the Hillwood Greenhouse, the flowers in the Hillwood gardens and the museum’s priceless collection of art. “Alexandra” is from this series.
