Painting: Watercolor on Paper. The painting is for sale. Painting flowers with watercolor is just a no-brainer for me. This one is out of the inside of my head. I paint these to make me happy. This floral is the product of a several step process that I enjoy immensely. I put down the background and let that dry. Then, after much staring at what emerges, I coax out shapes by adding and subtracting color. What gradually emerges over time is always a surprise and always an interesting journey. The medium is watercolor. I used Fabriano Artistico cold pressed 100% 140 lb. cotton paper. The dimension are 12 x 18 inches.
