About The Artist

Julian Andres Acosta Pacheco was born in Havana, Cuba in 1961. He currently lives and works in Miami, Florida. He attended Florida Atlantic University (B.F.A) and St. Thomas University (M.S). "At a personal and emotional level my work centers on boundaries, containment, forgiveness, compassion, and subconscious transfer of pain and trauma. I’m bound by brain chemistry and the result of neural pathway associations and the subconscious. I have to doubt whether I’m truly free in expression." - JAAP
