Striped Water

This is a glass of water shot against a striped background to illustrate the effect of water in refracting light. This image has been created in Lego by a school in Hungary to be exhibited in January 2015. See the blog on my website http://sjpgalleries.weebly.com for further details. In September 2014 I received an e-mail from a school in Hungary requesting that they be allowed to recreate this piece using Lego. I gave my agreement and the completed Lego replica is due to go into the exhibition on 29 January 2015. It took a team of 8 some 36 hours and over 7,000 Lego bricks to complete.
