About The Artist

I am an autodidact artist from regional Australia. My mostly larger format paintings representing my passion for nature and light reflect the lush and abundandant greenery of my subtropical environment; "I see shades of Henri Rousseau, Tahitian Gauguin and the texture of Frida Kahlo pieces." George Wong I recently undertook an artist residency at Chateau Orquevaux, Champagne Ardennes, France, where one of my works was selected for the Chateau's private collection. The majority of my sales to date have been originals to the interior design trade.
