NADYA ANNE MANGION

About The Artist

Clay sculpture and hand-built pots fired in the Raku and other low-firing procedures. “Pots are some of the very earliest artefacts created, and the span of our cultures can be traced through bowls and vases, dishes and beakers; made, glazed and decorated with expression and vigour. Vibrant colours, mainly primaries, predominate in the glazes I use. Patterns are mostly abstract. Observation together with memory and imagination, amalgamate to drive my creativity. – Nadya Anne Mangion”
