My concept is well expressed in the abstract artwork "Uden Titel" made with acrylics on linen. The canvas looks like a tangle of colours and signs, freely drawn on the surface. In the background, a contrast between cold blue and warm yellow prevails, interspersed with black, which creates dynamism and rhythm. The patches of colour, seemingly randomly juxtaposed, instead create interesting shapes inspired by the natural world, such as butterflies and flower petals. Totally and deliberately in contrast to the variegated background, I draw letters according to the oriental alphabet. These are made in a fluid and clear way, bright red and perfectly legible. I prefer colour contrasts in my paintings.
