About The Artist
I create investment oil paintings, focusing on Still Life, Figure painting and surreal Marionette narratives. My work has been collected internationally and I now am self-representing. Each canvas embodies much care, time and reflection. I have always been an artist – I discovered serious art as a young child and spent many hours absorbing valuable lessons from master drawings and paintings. As a teen I studied with artists privately, then won a Maryland state scholarship to the Corcoran Museum School in Washington D.C. I then studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, Indiana University, and Atelier style art classes. Growing up in a military family, I carry the respect I learned for the traditions of discipline, courage and passion to my art. After teaching at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, I now live and work in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
