Francesca Possati

About The Artist

Francesca Possati was born on December 26th, 1988, in Bologna, Italy, where she has spent most of her life. Francesca moved to London in 2016 and started to draw as self-taught in 2017, focusing on graphite and color pencil portraits and always aiming at the most realistic she could get. Later on, in the same year, Francesca discovered a talent for acrylics and then other media such as watercolours, pastels and she also works with digital art. Francesca’s artworks cover a wide range of subjects including her own portraits, journeys, experiences and the experiences of her customers. The realistic style combined with the creativity and versatility of the artist leads to a deep research and representation of the truth, exploring feelings and emotions through each stroke. Francesca began to work through commission in 2018 and she has been in high demand since then. Over the past few months Francesca has been exhibiting at Parallax Art Fair and I was one of the 100 artists selected for the Pebeo International Art Prize 2019, and my work exhibited at the Menier Gallery in central London. I was also invited to partecipate to Carousal du Louvre and Cannes Biennale 2020, which I will attend next may.
