About The Artist

Sculpted since an early age. Both parents landscape architects. Trained as a diorama preparator in the Exhibition Department of the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Also sculpted ethnographic figures, full-sized and in miniature. Ran exhibition programs in 7 museums. Started Ray Museum Studios in 1983 where I make reconstructions of ancient archaeological sites and other scale models, restore telescopes and build ceramic pieces. I also make large landscape sculptures in a variety of materials. I've been an active member of the Philadelphia Sculptors since 1995 and been in many shows.
