Dan Persa is a talented and respected writer in the Romanian literary community, who has dedicated his life to writing. He made his debut in journalism in 1992 in the magazine "Tomis". He has written for several magazines, including "Vatra", "Ateneu", and "Timpul". His literary work has been appreciated and awarded with several distinctions, including the National Book Fair Prize in Cluj for debut in prose in 1997, the Special Publisher's Prize in 1996, the Bacovia Prize for prose awarded by "Ateneu" in 1998, the Annual County Book Fair Prize, the USR Dobrogea Prize: Prose Book of the Year 2006, the Best Prose Book of the Year 2007, the USR Prize 2008, the Excellence Prize 2013, and the Vasile Alexandri National Prose Prize in 2019. Dan Persa is a member of the Romanian Writers' Union and the Association of Professional Writers in Romania (ASPRO), as well as an editor for the "Tomis" magazine in Constanta. Currently, the writer Dan Persa has written over 15 books, of which 13 are published: "Bestiaro", "Onirica", "Journey to Hell and Heaven and the City", "Arca", "Life Goes On", "And I Sank Antarctica", "Back to Solaris", "Beyond", "Books of Life", "With Eggs and Vinegar", "Hidden War", "Blind Chess", "Heavenly Epic", and "The Harbinger".
