About The Artist
Kim Chase is an acrylic and oil painter primarily recognized for her wildlife works. She centers on the expression, storytelling, and the beauty in each subject. She believes we are all connected to nature in a parallel way, behaviors, movement, attitudes, and visually. Her connection to art is with nature, expressing the interrelations visually and expounding the parallel relationships we have with it.
She has shown internationally throughout the USA, Venice, Italy, Toronto, and Ottawa. Her newest achievement is being part of Sioux City Museum Iowa, Society of Animal Artists exhibition and at the VanDusen Botanical Gardens Artists for Conservation exhibition this fall. Kim has also placed 3rd in Animals category in the World Art Awards and the American Art Awards. She is currently published in THE STORY OF FASHION magazine highlighting Canadian artists. She was published in PleinAir Magazine winning 1st Place in the Best of Animal & Birds category.
