As female artists, their main concern is how museums and major institutions do not take the risk of exhibiting controversial feminine works. Their pieces in this exhibition discuss the pain and violence of being a woman in today’s society. They ironically depict females’ bodies as voluminous vessels an image of the male gaze and explain how this has affected woman and their perception of themselves. Creating an exhibit like this draws the attention of talented female artists who want to talk about serious problems women face because of the pressure society has on them.
