About The Artist
William B. Crowell, LWS, is an acrylic artist who specializes in Louisiana subjects. An active member of many local art associations, his paintings have won awards in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Illinois.
William B. Crowell received his BFA from the University of New Orleans. Following the loss of his home and studio to Hurricane Katrina, he was displaced to Fayetteville, AR, until returning to the New Orleans area in 2006.
William B. Crowell is represented by the Garden District Gallery. In addition to private collections, his work appears in the New Orleans Museum of Art, the George Ohr Museum in Biloxi, MS., Ochsner Hospital in Jefferson, LA, and Chevron Northpark, in Covington, LA.
