About The Artist
Sandrine Hermand-Grisel began photography at an early age but decided to dedicate her life to her long time passion in 1997. She developed a very personal style, influenced by her late mother's sculptures and her husband’s films. Encouraged by her artistic family she was recognized by the prestigious Prix Kodak de la Critique Photographique in France for her portrait series Nocturnes. In 2006, she moved to the United States and began experimenting landscape photography with her series Somewhere and On the road. In 2013, she created the acclaimed website www.all-about-photo.com and now spends most of her time discovering new talents.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and recognized by, among others, Artslant, IPA (International Photography Awards), Vis à Vis International, Kodak, Ilford, Rayko Photo Center, SFAC Galleries, Réponses Photo and ELLE Magazines.
She lives and works in San Francisco.
