This exhibition highlights the paintings that are inspired by the East. I have travelled to Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. The memories and images are recorded in my sketchbook. The paintings are created from these travel books. I have recreated iconic images, the rich colour, texture, light, folk lore, and beauty of the East in this special Look East exhibition for your delight.
