Rashawn is a visual artist, writer and mother born in Michigan. Working mostly in acrylic and oil paints, Rashawn's work incorporates vibrant colors, words and fresh techniques in order to convey, with visuals and with writing, the emotionality of the subjects and experiences within the art being created. Many of the pieces incorporate original writings, essays and/or poetry.
