At the same time, Jaci was so overwhelmed with love that she began to cry tears of happiness that almost flooded the earth. Unable to control their emotions, Jaci and Guaraci decided that would be too dangerous for them to be together. Reluctantly, they agreed never to meet at the same place again. Guaraci soon forgot Jaci, who made sure never to appear before Guaraci sleeps. However, Jaci was so heartbroken that she cried every night. Her tears streamed down the leaves of the trees, puddling the forest floor and down the mountains, thus creating the great Amazon River.
