About The Artist


Šárka is a Czech born artist and designer. She was classically trained at international art schools across Europe in jewellery and fashion design before settling in the UK. She then studied Fine Art at University of Chichester graduating with a first class degree. In 2007she was awarded a full academic scholarship to study at West Dean College, graduating with MFA (Master of Fine Art) and PGdip with distinction in painting and drawing from The University of Sussex. The artist won several international awards including the over all first prize at Italian Triennale in Verona in 2016. Same year she was selected for a WAW (Woman’s Art World) project in the National Museum of Marrakesh. Her work was exhibited in a number of prestige’s international venues, such as RCA London, Pall Mall Galleries London, The Louvre-Paris, Uffizi-Florence, Museum of Modern Art Barcelona, La Vaccarrela Gallery Rome, Pallant House Gallery Chichester, Melia White House, London, 57th Venice Biennale, The Church Palace, Rome, Art Basel, Miami and Art Expo, New York. Šárka has a diverse visual language. She works across media and her works responds to the ever-changing time and space that we occupy.
