"Incy Lucky", 2016 - Ceramic, glass, marble and mirror on plywood, direct method (50x50cm). Opus sectile and opus Palladianum. Inspired by a tiny gold pendant my grandmother Iride had of a seven-legged spider, to which she always held on tight, even through both World Wars: possibly the only possession she managed to keep from her childhood… a spider which made me see her and love her for what she was, beyond her dignified and cold appearance.
