About The Artist
Rosa Maria Protopapa was born in Gagliano del Capo, near Lecce, in 1956. When she was very young, she had a passion for visual arts. She began her artistic career with sculpture, art in which she tested herself sculpting Pietra Leccese. Forward in time and with the experiences gained, she surrenders to the eternal charm of the art of painting and writing. Protopapa finds her essence in oil and acrylic painting and writing her thoughts and feelings. The passion for art pushes her to the constant research of herself continuing her studies and observations in order to grow more and more.
