Sacred Mt. Blanca

Mt. Blanca is the Eastern point on the Medicine Wheel that surrounds Dinetah (Navajo land) on the border between New Mexico and Colorado. People journey into the foothills and to the waterfalls, and sometimes up the mountain for spiritual renewal in all seasons but winter. This oil painting came out of a visionquest I did there, and I hope to share the experience in this way.
