Karla de Lara is an outstanding Mexican artist who has had more than 200 solo exhibitions in 36 countries. She has led large projects including ROSAFEST, MAYAN PARADE, and INSTRUMENTS OF THE SOUL, for which she included the participation of many important artists of the International scene. Considered the most recognized Mexican POP artist today, famous Art critics consider her the "The Mother of Hyperrealist Pop Art". Karla has won important prizes in Mexico and abroad for her outstanding contribution to the Fine Arts and maintains an important Joint Venture with KLM-Air France and Bentley. She is also created the largest Mural in Jalisco, Mexico, with more 360 m2, for the 30th anniversary of "Expo Guadalajara, Selected for 2017 Florence Biennale. Her market has become global. In Mexico her work is a favorite among those in the entertainment and political fields, and she has been commissioned to paint portraits of many prominent figures. Her work is also collected by prestigious musicians, designers and Art Foundations.
