About The Artist
Tamila Vdovina, was born on December 10, 1966 in the city of Zhitomir. She studied at the art school of the Honored Artist of Ukraine VN Shkurinsky.
In 1982, after a big contest, she successfully passed the exams and entered the Kharkov Art College in the theater and department, where she worked under the guidance of the honored art worker of Ukraine AA Shigimagi.
After graduation, in 1986, she worked in the Zhytomyr Regional Music and Drama Theater. I. Kochergi, senior decorator.
In parallel, she worked as a graphic designer, and in her free time she studied restoration and was engaged in charitable works in local churches.
Since 1989, she began to work in the direction of sacred art.
In 2016, Tamila Vdovina moved to the Czech Republic.
Now there is an intensive work on new projects
She created images for churches and private collections in Ukraine, CIS, Italy, Ecuador, Argentina and other countries.
Her icons adorn the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin in Zhytomyr "The Image of the Sacred Savior" at the central entrance to the new church in the monastery of St. Anastasia of the Roman martyr and others.
Tamila Vdovina is a general artist. Experiments with different materials and styles and genres allow us to discover fresh ideas embodied in monumental images.
