She exhibits throughout eastern New England, in Boston, and has work archived into the Brooklyn, NY art library that toured across the country. Susan has been a solo artist at the Firehouse Ctr. for the Arts, Angles and Art, and has had several solo shows at the Laura Coombs Hills Gallery. Ms. Kneeland inspires her private students to attend our nation’s top art colleges, and encourages adults and children to explore their passion for making artwork. Every week Susan teaches an art therapy program benefitting residents of nursing homes, and Alzheimer’s units in the Merrimack valley. She is a member of the Newburyport Art Association, the Haverhill Art Association, the Pastel Society of America; is an inductee to the National Honor Society, and was awarded “2015 Woman Of The Year” by the YWCA. In addition, she competed and won a sculpture competition in 2015. This sculpture now stands on the corner of Middlesex St. and South Main St., in Bradford, Ma. Most recently the Massachusetts House Of Representatives acknowledged and awarded Susan’s contribution to the advancement of art and culture for her community.
