About The Artist
Tina Hotchkiss’ work is full of energy: using watercolor, ink, gesso, and color pencil to create scenes from nature. Her love for mark making and color is shown in her work. She participates in juried and non-juried exhibitions and has won several awards. Her work has been published in Ann Kullberg's Hidden Treasures IV and the book: Year of the Resistance. Tina earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the Ann Arbor Women Artists, National Watercolor Society ,Colored Pencil Society of America (and the Detroit chapter) and the Chelsea Painters. Tina teaches numerous art classes for all ages and is the art program coordinator and art instructor at the Ypsilanti Township Community Center.
