About The Artist


'Arati Reddy-Devlin is a UK trained Graphic Designer, (London College of Communication, 1984), Fine Art Printmaker, (Brighton University, 1986) and qualified Art and Design teacher,(Goldsmiths University of London, 2002). In1986, she was awarded a British Council Scholarship to study Fine Art Printmaking at the Ljubljana Art Academy, Slovenia, where she gained skills in traditional printmaking techniques. Reddy-Devlin, lived and worked in Croatia from 2009 -2013 where her intricate pen and ink landscapes were influenced by nature around her on the island where she lived. Her island life experience ignited her passion for the micro world of natural forms and returning to live in the UK, her printmaking disciplines enabled her to work backwards in her work to create even more complex layering of dynamic images. Her current series of works fuse her passion for Sci-fi, robotics and mechanical parts and Medieval art, interwoven with delicate natural forms to create other micro worlds'.
