About The Artist


C. Fred Lawrenson was juried into the World Nature Artist's Group (now known as Artists for Conservation) in 2003. This organization web hosts the top nature artists in the world. Two of his paintings were selected to the Paint America top 100; "Origins" in 2007 and "Tanglewood Touchdown" in 2010. He has also written and illustrated two children's books; "Shalock and the Cloud of Bad Dreams" in 2010 and "In Search of the Great Wild Kawkins" in 2012. Both were national finalists in the USA Best Books competition for children's soft cover fiction picture books sponsored by USA Book News. In 2015 two of his paintings; "Abrams's Falls" and "After the Rain" were selected to the Paint the Parks top 100. In 2016 Fred published a coffee table book titled "All the Difference" containing 56 of his paintings and the inspirations behind them. This book was also selected as one of 3 national finalists in the art category of the USA Best Books Competition.
