Oil on panel, 120 x 80 The idea for this painting arose during my trip through India. I wanted to discover who I am, without everything else. I left everything behind and left for India to get in touch with my deepest feelings. Because I was completely gone, from my familiar surroundings, I learned to listen to my inner voice. It has given me a lot of clarity and that has never gone away. I learned in every situation where you don't know what to do, you have to listen to that inner voice, your feeling. This painting shows that the message is received. The woman thinks, she doesn't remember for a moment and then suddenly the messenger brings her a message. That's when we trust our intuition, listening to the inner voice. In this painting the messenger is portrayed in a male angel, but the messenger can be 'anything'. A 'feeling' enters where you know (also called the feeling or stimulus) what is depicted in the painting as a male angel.
