About The Artist

BIO- DATA Iqbal Krishna Gurtu completed his MA in Drawing and Painting and two years of diploma in drawing and painting from Gwalior in 1980-81 . He participated in Madhya Pradesh state exhibition, national exhibition and AIFACS in 1977, 1978 and 1979, respectively. He was awarded by the Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad in 1979. Group Show : participated in a group show in March 2012 at AIFACS NEW DELHI. His work is mainly ink on canvas in a daring, surrealistic style. He has been working as a visual merchandiser since 1982 but has continued to pursue his passion for art by doing freelance paintings in New Delhi. He has carved a niche for himself with his extraordinary and unconventional ideas in the world of in-store marketing and display.
