About The Artist

Francine DeBlois is an artist and painter living in St-Hyacinthe , Quebec, Canada. From early childhood,she is fascinated by colour. Painting is a gesture of her life. She chose the path of abstraction and according to her inspiration figurative subjects are imperative to her. Acrylic is her favorite medium. Her inner listenings is guided by colour. By gestures, the addition of paper or clay, she reveals moods that meet her environmental concerns. She displays emotions, let us see her torments, revolts, her joys and dreams. Francine took advantage of her freedom of expression and gives the viewer a space open to interpratation and contemplation. He, she,can read their own fears and joys.
