About The Artist

I am a mixed media artist and writer based in Los Angeles. My art reflects on boundaries, both real and imagined, and blurs them. It refers to my life, private and public, and my feelings on the human experience and social order as I've witnessed or experienced. My work is heavily influenced by my love of nature, my writing and poetry practice, and my Indian immigrant upbringing in the rural Deep South and experiences in as an outlier in various phases of my life. Prior to diving into the professional art world, I obtained my BA from Rice U in English, attended medical school, and received my JD at Northwestern University School of Law, beginning my practice as an intellectual property lawyer in the private equity industry and complex corporate mergers and acquisitions, and eventually transitioning into practice as an entertainment lawyer. Since launching my professional art career, I’ve exhibited my work worldwide, been published in international art magazines, and awarded.
