About The Artist
MOSES IDOWU SODIPO, born on March 15, 1993. He studied fine and applied art at the university of Benin graduating with a second class upper in 2015. He started drawing from the age of six. He paints with acrylic colours and he paints to depicts the happenings in the society using his painting as a way of speaking for the oppressed and the less privileged in the society.
He tutors students drawing and painting practical
classes and has prepared them for various art competitions and exhibition which
they won at different levels. He has won several awards in different art
competitions within and outside Nigeria which include Certificate of
participation in the National Art Competition under the theme of “Sheroes”,
(designed by UNESCO Abuja under the European Union – United National Spotlight
Initiative in Nigeria to eliminate violence against women and girls.)
