About The Artist

*Pastbritt*, the artistic identity of Patricia Steinmann-Britt, is a contemporary artist who seamlessly blends abstraction and figuration, drawing inspiration from both the raw beauty of nature and the richness of her travels. Born 1977 in Switzerland, art has always been an important part of her life. After graduating at teacher‘s college, she especially enjoyed teaching art to her young students. Her work stands out through its expressive use of bold colors, intricate textures, and organic patterns, reflecting a deep connection to the landscapes and environments she encounters. Each painting becomes a visual journey, inviting viewers to traverse between the familiar and the abstract, revealing layers of emotion and movement. By merging elements of nature and travel into her distinctive compositions, *pastbritt* offers a unique exploration of the world’s diversity and its transformative impact on the human spirit. After raising her children, Patricia found herself with more time and space to reconnect with that creative energy. Rediscovering her passion for art felt like returning to an old friend she hadn’t seen in years. The inspiration to start painting again came from a deep desire to express emotions and ideas that had been quietly simmering during the busy years of motherhood. Art became a way for her to process the transitions in her life and reflect on the beauty and challenges she had experienced.
