My daughter wanted a pet and we lived in a condo that didn't allow dogs so her option was to get a cat. I wanted her to feel responsible for her cat so I created the prerequisite that she raise the money to adopt a rescue animal. That amount was sixty dollars. After thinking about it she decided to hold a garage sale and sell her entire Barbie Doll collection. That did the trick and she was able to adopt Tabby! This is an acrylic painting on watercolor paper.
