Sobre el Artista

Oil painter, Hidenori Sakakura was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1931 and studied under Yasuo Kazuki, and now works as director of the Kazuki Yasuo Museum. Sakakura employs subjects around him to create works that include still lifes and landscapes. Has has inherited the distinctive brushwork of his master while infusing his works with a sense of color that reflect his own feeling. Sakakura has received international acclaim.
