Sobre el Artista
Enrica Barozzi was born in Cortina d’Ampezzo (Belluno), where she graduated at the Art Institute.
She moved to Florence, where she still lives, she studied "Restoration of old wood" to the School "Palazzo Spinelli" and she worked in numerous workshops to learn the techniques of restoration, gilding and especially wood carving.
In the International Competition XXV Prize of Florence, in 2007, she won the Gold Prize.
She has participated in numerous exhibitions and has exhibited several works at the International Fair of Innsbuck and at the Biennale of Visual Art in Paris.
In the Spring of 2009 she won the First Absolute Prize at the National Competition of Montecatini Terme.
In January 2010 she participated in the "Macef International Home Show" in Milan, with works and decorative objects created by herself.
Carries a restorer, has tought carving and has collaborated with the school of restoration "La Cantoria". She has also collaborated and shared the lab with some artists, including Marcelo Rosales.
Enrica, when she was a child, thoughts to have been founded under a small tree, in the words of the song that her father dedicated to her. Perhaps her passion for wood was born here, in the forests where she takes inspirations for her creations and where she takes roots of trees which transform into art, but also place where she feels happy and free from all thoughts.
