Sobre el Artista

My current work can be described as an abstract vision of the natural world, animals and the environment. The focus of my images is on exhibiting the contrast of beauty and the forces of nature in an abstract form. I have been greatly influenced by conservation of the planet and the organic approach towards the earth which is essential to preserving our fragile ecosystems in this age of global warming and environmental havoc/pandemics. In my paintings I need to explore the basic cycles of a sustainable environment on which all life depends. Water, one of our planets biggest resources to support life, is a constant focus of many of my canvases. I am based out of the Wilmington, Delaware area & the Mid Atlantic region. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Art from the University of Delaware in 2001 on a Grant/Scholarship. A recipient of the Artist Opportunity Grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts and on the Artist roster of the DDOA. Best in Delaware by Del. Today Magazine.
