Patricia Shrigley, lives and works in London. Patricia studied at sir John Cass School of art Guildhall and Camberwell art school London.
?Patricia’s work takes an irreverent, satirical approach to notions of self-identity, mixing caricatures and stereotypes. Patricia uses herself and actors and real life situations. In Patricia’s performances she use costumes, makeup and tape. Patricia believes that work that creates visual imagery is one of the most compelling means of looking at identity’s and social behavior?Patricia has been working with mostly film installations, and has shown work internationally at galleries and film festivals.
