Sobre el Artista

Born 1968 in Chia-yi, Lynn Chen attended the National Taiwan University of Arts from 1987 to 1991, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from the Design Department. Chen has had a varied education in fine arts that still nurtures her growth and development as a painter. With an impressive resume, she has shown in several juried exhibitions hosted by the Taiwan Arts Associations (1999 - 2013), has received numerous awards including 12 gold medals and she is now a qualified member of Tai-Yang Art Society. Chen actively exhibits in international group and solo shows including in her native Taiwan, the USA, the Florence Biennale in Italy and in Canada. Lynn Chen’s goal is to create a new style of painting with an Oriental vocabulary and produce work that speaks of goodness, beauty, and truth. Lynn believes in sharing with the universe and expressing the positive power of love.
