William Haney is painter and digital artist. He has lectured and taught at Carnegie-Mellon University(CMU), The College of New Jersey and University Of Pennsylvania. Currently he is a full Professor at Seton Hall University teaching Drawing as Design and Digital Painting. While at C-MU’s College of Fine Arts he was one of the first artists to create digitized paintings on a computer. In a Wall Street Journal article titled ‘Artist Learns to Paint with Computers’, Professor Haney described the software program and application techniques he used to create his pixel-based art. He has exhibited in over fifty exhibitions including: numerous exhibitions nationally incuding the Carnegie Museum of Art, PA. Alex Rosenberg Gallery, NYC.
