Sobre el Artista
Claudia Giuffre is an abstract artist who works in painting and photography. She travels often in order to influence and inspire her work. She is always working to make the most of her time and eager to constantly learn. Her most recent opportunities to further her knowledge of the art world include studying and living in New York City, specifically in Chelsea. Hosted by the New York Arts Program she participated in a four-week art intensive program. Also Miss Giuffre was awarded with the Summer Scholars Research Grant from Miami University to pursue for eight weeks a project of her choosing. She traveled to five different cities and four different states pursuing a photo story about the modern cowboy. Another experience of Miss Giuffre’s was a study abroad trip to the Bahamas for photography, a photo taken during that time was chosen as the winning photo for a study abroad photo contest and her picture was published in the Miamian, Miami Quarterly and Happy Captive magazines. Soon after she returned to the Bahamas to work as a photography teacher for a non-profit organization, Space to Create. She plans to continue her art career with as much dedication and energy as she has shown in the past and looks for new opportunities in new places to influence her and her work.
