Sobre el Artista

Born in 1968 in Lavagna, Italy. His works deal with the empty place – the absence and presence – which takes possession of all places built by man and for man; abandoned places by means of an evocative interpretation become existential sets. The author searches and attentively selects these sets which correspond to his need for specific peculiarities. Once found, he begins his work as director and artist and creates a stratification of the elements: vivid coloures, dimmed red lighting, dark corners and hints of figures – they are almost ghost-like which guide one from empty to full memories. However, his work needs one last step to be alive and complete: The observer must make space between restlessness and menacing uneasiness to completely realize the work with his personal interpretation. Awards in Italy: 2011 "CHROMIC", prize for contemporary art, Bibbiena. 2012 "Nocivelli", prize for contemporary art, honourable mention, Brescia; "ARTWALL", contemporary art prize, Alexandria. 2013 "Show of Tigullio", prize for contemporary art, Economic Society of Chiavari
