ABOUT Paulie is a London based pop surrealism artist and art photographer. Influenced by classic horror films, Kustom Kulture and German expressionism. Works with varied digital and traditional media, however soft pastels predominate over others. Paulie first exhibited at the age of thirteen. After that, she had almost ten year break in arts, just to start again with a double power as a grown up, but not too serious creator. Since then Paulie's Creations have been shown and published across Europe and USA. As an artists, Paulie creates mainly grotesque and a bit kitschy images. Her lowbrow pieces range from realistic to cartoony, from humorous to spooky, and are deeply inspired by both the 50s era and classic horror films. As a photographer, Paulie puts focus on automotive and architectural imagery. Where, again, strong Kustom Kulture and German expressionism influences are visible. Custom cars, classic motorcycles, old staircases, fancy interiors or night urban scenery are the main topics of Paulie's photos.
